(1929 - 2011) - ST. LOUIS DE KENT - Elodie Guimond, 81, of St. Louis de Kent passed away peacefully at the Dr. George-L. Dumont Hospital in Moncton, after a courageous battle with cancer for 40 years. She was the daughter of the late Fidele and late Marie (Landry) Fontaine. Elodie will be sadly missed by her three sons; Alyre Guimond (Bernice Vinacco) of Moncton, Paul Guimond (Diane) of St. Louis de Kent and Richard Guimond (Diane) of Richibouctou- Village, three grandchildren; Roger, Mylene and Paul, two sisters; Yvette Losier of Moncton and Evelyn Daigle (late Joe) of St. Louis de Kent and several nieces and nephews. Elodie was predeceased by her husband; Roger Guimond and several brothers and sisters.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Thursday from 7 to 9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 4th, 2011 at 2:00 PM at St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent.
