(1925-2011) - POINTE-SAPIN, NB- Lester Kelly 85, of Pointe Sapin passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on January 30, 2011. Born in Bridgeport Connecticut, USA, he was the son of the late Martin and late Elenore (Daigle) Kelly. He was a veteran of World War II. He will be sadly missed by his two daughters; Mina Robichaud (Bobby) of St. Louis, Anne Martin (Emilien) of Baie Ste. Anne, three sons; Ronald Kelly (Julia) of Baie Ste. Anne, Norman Kelly (Marielle) of Moncton, Aldei Kelly (Laurie - Anne) of Pointe Sapin. Three step sons; Arthur, Gregoire and Bertin, three step daughters; Angela, Rachel and Gisele, seven grandchildren; Martin, Kim, Nadine, Phillipe, Eric, Anne, Lisa, five great grandchildren; Jamie, Mya, Kole, Logan, Rowan, two sisters; Mina Mazerolle (Fabien) of Pointe Sapin, Therese Cormier (Richard) of Richibucto, a special cousin Noel of Connecticut, USA, and several nieces and nephews. Lester was predeceased by his wife; Eloise Duplessis, step son; Euclide, an infant grandson; Justin, infant sister; Irene , and infant brother; Walter.
Resting at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Pointe-Sapin with visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Friday at 9:00 am until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 4th, 2011 at 10:00 am, St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Pointe-Sapin. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
