WORTHINGTON, Cindy Lou – 51, Sydney, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 5, 2009, in Sydney. Born January 6, 1958, in Truro, she was a daughter of Verna Walker, Debert and the late David Carroll. Cindy Lou worked as a secretary for many years and also volunteered with The Salvation Army and Loaves and Fishes. Along with her mother, Cindy Lou is survived by her daughter, Rebecca “Peanut”; son, Kyle “Kyliebug”; former husband, John Worthington, all of Truro; sister, Donna (Albert) Pittman, Lornevale; brother, Bruce Carroll, Truro; boyfriend, Vincent Steffans, Sydney; nephews, Chad, Brennan (Amanda), Devin and Mitchell; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday, July 9, 2009, in Masstown United Church, Reverend Don MacQueen officiating. Private family interment will be held in Masstown Cemetery.
