We, the family of Euphemia 'Phemia' Roland regret to announce her passing Feb. 1, 2011, at the Northside General Hospital.
Born in Sydney Mines, June 27, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Hazel Clarke.
She is survived by her children, Craig (Gail), Allison (Brian), Randy (Angela) and Yvette (Kelly); her grandchildren, Jessica, Yvonne, Matthew, Jordan and Josh; her brother, Allister; and her second husband, Clifford.
Besides her parents, Phemia was predeceased by her first husband, William Hodder and her sister-in-law, Alice.
Visitation Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Sydney Mines, with Fr. Ajit Kerketta officiating. Burial in Brookside Cemetery at a later date.
