GORDON ELLIOTT HORNE
The family of the late Gordon Elliott Horne wishes to extend its sincere appreciation to those to who so lovingly cared for our brother and uncle: to those caring staff members of Cape Breton Regional Hospital Units 4C and 3B who went the extra distance to make Gordon's last months as comfortable as possible, especially Kenneth Lowther and Tony Leudy; Denise MacKeigan, social worker; the Palliative Care Volunteers. A special thank you is extended to: Harold Jewett for his care and friendship of Gordon over the last several years; to Rev. Robert Lyle, the hospital visitation team and the Men's Choir of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Sydney; to Pastor Kevin Richardson of Union Presbyterian Church, Albert Bridge; to the Presbyterian Church Women, Union Presbyterian Church for the luncheon after the funeral service; to the pall bearers, Brian Horne, Jimmy Horne, Albert Horne, Roger Larade, Jean-Pierre Larade, and Greg ( Freddie) Harte; to Wayne and Kollin Weatherbee, Sydney Memorial Chapel.
