Grace Monica (Tuplin)

June 30, 1924-January 28, 2011

Surrounded by her loving family, Grace passed peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal from surgery complications. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Ritchie in 1986 and her son Melvin Paul (Millie) of Fredericton in 1993 and nine brothers and sisters. Grace's life was the hub of the family wheel; children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren that brought her the greatest joy. She will be dearly remembered by her children Brenda Haugen (Barry), Deborah Hansen, Gail Nelson, Pamela Reid (Keith), Vincent Tuplin (Martina), Robert Nelson (Bernadette), Douglas Nelson, and her 23 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Marcia McLeod (Arthur) and a brother Graham Tuplin (Delores) and many, many nieces and nephews. A mass and memorial service will be held on Lennox Island First Nation, P.E.I. Interment in St Anne's Cemetery. Date to be announced. "God gave us memories so we might have roses in December".
