Peacefully at the Beach Grove Home on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, of Mrs. Helen Irene MacPhail, age 87 years.
Born in Saskatchewan, September 5, 1923, she was the wife of the late Lloyd A. MacPhail, formerly of New Dominion, and mother of Chet (Debbie), Kevin (Bev), Lucy Larkin (Joe), John (Linda) and Dianne MacEwen. She is also survived by daughters-in-law Ann and Sandra, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Wilna Sheridan.
She was predeceased by sons Ronnie and Lloyd Merrill, son-in-law Scott MacEwen, brothers Neil, Jackie, Forbes and Alvin, sisters Mary MacEachern, and Betty Mills and her parents John B. and Florence MacDonald.
Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place later in Long Creek United Baptist Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Long Creek Cemetery Fund, the Alzheimer Association or the Melissa MacPhail Fund.
