Forever in our hearts
It is with great sadness, that we announce the sudden passing of our brother, son, and an all around great guy, William Thomas (Bill/Billy) Maloney (LeBlanc).
He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and an active member of Union 1325 (Scaffolders). Billy was working at the Co-Op Refinery in Regina, Sask., with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local 1985. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the Union Local 1985 and the wonderful members of his crew, who met with us in Regina under these difficult circumstances.
Billy was born March 15, 1970, in Halifax, N.S., and lived most of his life in Scotch Lake, C.B.. He passed away Jan. 25, 2011, in Regina, Sask.
He was predeceased by his loving mother, Carole Marie LeBlanc (Mahoney/Paquet), his grandmother, Cecilia Mahoney (Paquet) and his grandfather, Maurice LeBlanc.
He is survived by his dad, Maurice LeBlanc (Christena) from Alder Point, C.B.; his brother, James Maloney (Gabriele) from Rimbey, Alta.; his sister, Holly LeBlanc from Edmonton, Alta.; his grandmother, Lorraine Roland from North Sydney, N.S.; many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as countless friends.
His immediate family will announce an official date for a memorial service to be held in his honour at a later time.
