1950 - 2011 Rita Richard, 60 of Notre-Dame passed away peacefully at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Wednesday February 2nd, 2011. She was married to Rhéal Richard. Born in Saint-Antoine on November 15th, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Léandre Cormier and Claira (LeBlanc) Cormier of Saint-Antoine. She will be sadly missed by her husband Rhéal and her mother, her two children, Lisa Richard (Marc) and Steven (Mélissa) both of Notre-Dame, and one granddaughter, Caitlyn. She also leaves to mourn, four sisters, Diane McDonald (Gilles), Stella Maillet (Robert) both of Bouctouche, Simone Saulnier(Ronald) of Saint-Antoine, Lucille Léger (Jean-Marie) of Leominster, MA., seven brothers, Oscar (Aldéa), René (Norma), Léo (Jeannita), Rhéal (Diane), Gerard (Carmella), Paul all of Saint-Antoine and Alcide (Rina) of Bouctouche, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son Rhéal Jr. (1974).
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Notre-Dame on Thursday February 3rd, 2011 from 7 to 9 and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45. Funeral Mass will be held at the Notre-Dame Church on Friday February 4th, 2011 at 7:00 pm with internment in the Saint-Antoine Parish Cemetery in the spring.
