Frank LeBlanc

Frank LeBlanc, 76, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at the Moncton Hospital. Born on August 19, 1934 in Minto, NB, he was the son of the late Frank and Baselice (Cormier) LeBlanc. Prior to his retirement and years in Moncton, he was employed with Willet Food Cash and Carry Division. He was a 3rd degree member with the Knights of Columbus Council # 1310, the Saint-Antoine Golden Age Club, the Royal Canadian Legion #6 and the St. George Street Air Force Club. He is survived by two sons: André and Robert "Robbie" (Catherine), both of Hamilton, ON; two grandsons: Brandon and Marc; his partner and loving companion, Catherine Meunier; her children: Bernadette, Patricia, Pete and Yvon; one sister, Lorraine Barton of Chipman; two brothers: Raymond of Minto and Ernest of Fitchburg, MA; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Viola (Allain), a son, Daniel "Danny"; three sisters: Margaret, Theresa and Christina; also a brother, Émile.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure (10:50). The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard's R.C. Church, 43 Botsford Street, Moncton, on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary R.C. Cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Frank, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
