The death of Mary Eunice Stewart, wife of John Stewart of River Road, Sunny Corner, NB, occurred on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 53. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Norma (Ronan) Adair. Mary was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank, a caregiver, a member of the Society of the Little Flower St. Therese, Miramichi Garden Club and sponsored a child through World Vision Canada. Besides her husband: John, Mary is survived by: two daughters: Nancy Stewart Cottle (Kevin) of Connecticut, USA; Jennifer Stewart (Daniel Duguay) of Moncton, NB; sisters: Michelle Fullerton (Tim); Eloise Seigel (Bannon Morrissy); Kelly Godin (Eric) all of Miramichi, NB; brothers: David of Vancouver, BC; Paul (Mary) of Miramichi, NB; Fred of Calgary, AB; Sean of Miramichi, NB; grandson: Kai Cottle and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents: Mary is predeceased by: sister: Nancy Burrell and nephews: Joshua and Jeffrey and father and mother in law: John Vincent and Eileen Stewart.
The family will receive visitors at Bell's Funeral Home on Sunday, February 6, 2011 from 2 to 4 PM only. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Newcastle on Monday at 10:30 AM with Father Dan Melanson officiating. In Mary's memory, donations may be made to the New Brunswick Extra Mural Program or the Moncton Hospital Oncology Floor.
