Donovan, Norman Salter, 76, Truro, passed away February 1, 2011, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born December 9, 1934 in Truro, he was the only son of the late Norman Salter Donovan, Sr. and the late Effie Sandeson Lynds. Norman is survived by son Terry (Connie) Donovan, Truro; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren. He is also survived by two half-sisters, Agnes (Kirk) Taylor, Truro, Dorothy (Kirk) Frohlic, Ontario; numerous nieces and nephews. Norman was predeceased by daughter, Debbie Hartigan; sons, Dale and Shawn; half-brothers, Robert Kirk, Lewis Kirk, Lloyd Kirk; half-sisters, Effie (Kirk) Kubbernus and Edith (Kirk) Hanlan. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 5th, beginning at 10a.m. until the time of the funeral at 11a.m.all in Colchester Community Funeral Home 512 Willow St. Truro, with Pastor Scott Penner officiating.
