Passed peacefully away on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Admiral’s Coast Retirement Centre, Kelligrews, Doris Jessie Dawe, in her 91st year. Predeceased by husband Philip, 1987; son Steve 1997; and infant daughters: Elizabeth and Shirley 1945; brother Ralph Dawe 1995. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Pat Fagan and Clayton Crocker, Donna Dawe and Burnie Taylor, Kevin and Barbara Dawe, Georgina and Dan Hunt, Phyllis and Rene Molloy, Joan and Jim Mercer, Bill and Sandra Dawe, Roy and Sharon Dawe; her twenty grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; two brothers: Mackie (Betty) Dawe, Aubrey (Cynthia) Dawe; one sister Marguerite Bussey; sisters-in-law: Mary Dawe, Rita Dawe, Nellie (Pat) English; special brother-in-law Paddy Dawe; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and her many friends and staff at Admiral’s Coast. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Tuesday, 10-12 noon, 2-4 p.m. and 70-9 p.m., Wednesday 10-12 noon. Funeral Mass in St. Edward’s Church, Kelligrews on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment in St. Edward’s Cemetery, Kelligrews.
