The death of Rita Amelia Wilkie of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Gordon Wilkie, occurred on Friday, February 4, 2011 at the Loch Lomond Villa Nursing Home. Born in Saint John on August 18, 1922 she was a daughter of the late William and Lena (Cyr) Hunt. Survived by her daughter, Lynn (Eldon) Dempster of Quispamsis. Predeceased by four brothers and four sisters.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424. A private family interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
