It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sheilah MacDonald on Jan. 3, 2011, after a brief but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Sheilah was born in Florence, raised in Glace Bay, and spent her adult life in the Halifax/Dartmouth area.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnita (Bonnie) Wilson; son-in-law, David Wilson; grandchildren, Christopher Wilson and Jessica Wilson, all of Dartmouth; foster sister, Marie Dow of Enderby, B.C.
A private family interment will take place at a later date.
Donations in Sheilah's name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Salvation Army-Maritime Division.
