1921 - 2011 - Rita Mitton, 89, of Moncton, NB, passed away on Friday, February 4th, 2011, at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Henry and the late Marguerite (née: Sivret) Leger. Mrs. Mitton was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 6, Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Mitton of Moncton; three sons: James (Eveline) of Lakeville, David of Dieppe and Mark (Rachel) of Notre-Dame; one daughter-in-law, Doris Mitton of Riverview; one sister, Anna Simard of Moncton; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Hartley in 2002; three sons: Lawrence, John and Dwayne; four sisters: Mary, Theresa, Ida and Rose and also by one brother, Anthony.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Wednesday February 9th, 2011 from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 pm until time of service, which will be celebrated from the chapel at 7 pm.
