Alice Cooper

Alice Cooper, 84, of Monarch Hall, Riverview and formerly of Church St., Moncton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday February 5, 2011. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Wainright) Case. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and she enjoyed spending time with her family. During WWII she served in Canada with the Canadian Women's Army Corp. Alice will be sadly missed by her son, Robert A. Cooper, Moncton; daughter, Susan L. Carlyle (David), Quesnel, BC; grandchildren, Lindsey Cooper, Lea Carlyle, Shelley Wolff (Devin); great grandchildren, Hayden and Jordyn Wolff. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert Cooper (June 2010) and by her aunt and uncle that helped raise her, Fred and Gertrude Case.
In keeping with Alice's wishes, there will be no visitation hours. Private Graveside Service, to be held at Elmwood Cemetery in the spring. Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), in care of arrangements. If so desired, contributions in Alice's memory can be made to a memorial of choice.
