(1916-2010) - REXTON - Greta Collins 94, formerly of Kouchibouguac passed away peacefully at the Rexton Lion's Nursing Home on Saturday, February 5th, 2011. Born in Kouchibouguac, she was the daughter of the late James and late Elizabeth (Jardine) McAuley. Greta was a parishioner at the St. James United Church, Kouchibouguac. Greta will be sadly missed by her loving husband; Freeman Collins, her daughter; Phyllis Kelly (late Gordon) of Kouchibouguac, her two sons; Christopher (Eleanor Lennox) of Kouchibouguac, and Elvin (Lisa McDonald) of Edmonton, AB, her four grandchildren; Barbara, Bonnie, Sarah, and Alec, as well as several nieces and nephews. Other than by her parents, Greta was predeceased by one brother; Alexander.
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm, and Wednesday from noon until time of funeral. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 9th, 2011 at 4:00 pm, at the Thompson's Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto with Rev. Galen Smith officiating.
