RHYNO, Patricia Grace - 61, of Yarmouth, passed away in Yarmouth Regional Hospital on January 28, 2011. Born August 14, 1949, in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Kendall and Mary (Smith) Power. Patricia was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 61 Ladies Auxiliary. She loved Facebook and her grandchildren were very dear to her. She is survived by sons, Philip (Anne) Saulnier, Yarmouth; Kendall (Andrea) Saulnier, Shelburne; Jamie Saulnier, Yarmouth; brothers, Dexter (Cathy) Power, Lake Echo, Halifax Co.; Mike (Louise) Power, Beaver River; Nick (Sheelagh) Power, Canaan, Yarmouth Co.; sister, Rita (Dave) Miller, Lower East Chezzetcook, Halifax Co.; step-children, Denise (Paul) Rhyno, Chegoggin; Douglas Rhyno, Chegoggin; Rhonda Smith; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband, Doug; sons, Dennis in infancy and Emile. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny's Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Yarmouth. A memorial service was held Tuesday, February 1 at 2 p.m. from Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. A. D. "Bill" Newell officiated. Interment will take place at a later date in Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia or to a charity of your choice.
