Ruth Elsbeth McCormac, 75, of Autumn Lee Retirement Home, Moncton, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Studholm, Kings County she was a daughter of the late Dan and Alice (Murphy) McCormac. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family and loved music and singing. She is survived by her sisters Velma Layden (Harold) of Petitcodiac, Mary Thorne of Petitcodiac, Doreen Mellon of Moncton, Rose McCormac of Hamilton, ON. Glenna Madden (John) of Stoney Creek, ON; brother Don McCormac (Pat) of Hamilton, ON; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Marie Doherty, Alice Kyle and Lorena Lynch.
The Funeral service will be held from Salisbury Funeral Home 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) on Thursday, February 10 at 2 pm with Rev. Phil Mulligan officiating. No visiting hours by request. Interment in Goshen at a later date. The family respectfully request a scent free environment at this time.
