It is with great sadness that the family of the late Evelyn Alma Wimbleton, age 78, announce her passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Monday, January 31, 2011.
Predeceased by her husband - Harvey Wimbleton; parents - Henry & Ethel Foss; siblings - Raymond Foss, Mae Welshman, Henry Foss, Harriet Ryan, Bert Foss & Cecil Foss.
Left with fond and loving memories are her children - Marion Wimbleton, Corner Brook, NL, Raymond Wimbleton (Ivy), Baie Verte, NL, Nina Wimbleton, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Vivian Harvyl (Tom), White Rock, BC, Elaine Jacobs (Robert), Baie Verte, NL, David Wimbleton (Annette), Fort McMurray, AB, Timothy Wimbleton (Sharon), Deer Lake, NL; grandchildren - Amy Billard (Rodney), Joey Gould, Raymond Wimbleton, Jr. (Terri-Lynn), Michael Lacey (Roxanne), Mark Lacey (Debby), Jenny Noble, Robbie Jacobs, Matthew Jacobs (Jana), Amie Wimbleton, Ryan Wimbleton, Isabelle Wimbleton & Isaac Wimbleton; great-grandchildren - David Billard, Chelsea Wimbleton, Noah Wimbleton, Stephen Lacey, Taylor Lacey, Julian Patey, Jayden Noble & Gavin Wimbleton; siblings-in-law - Evelyn Foss, Maisie Foss, Margaret Bowers & Ella Foss; many nieces and nephews, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Rev. Shirley Noseworthy conducted the funeral service at Bethany United Church, Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Interment followed at the United Cemetery, Snook's Arm, NL.
Pallbearers were sons - Ray Wimbleton, David Wimbleton & Tim Wimbleton; grandsons - Matthew Jacobs, Robbie Jacobs & Michael Lacey.
