It is with great sadness that the family of the late Adeline (Adgie) Anderson announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at the age of 92 years. Surrounded by loving members of her family and the staff of very dedicated nurses of the sixth floor and her very special friend Dr. Obeid. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Harley (Susie), Danny (Kim), and George all of Meadows. Leroy (Michelle) of Irishtown, Jack of Peterborough, ON, Garry (Margaret) of Barry, ON. Melvin (Joan) of Middleton, NS. Geraldine (Wade) George of Gillams, Shirley (Bert) Shoefelt of Mississauga, ON, Goldie (Al) Rollingson of Kelowna, BC. Jean (Kevin) Slaney of Tumbler Ridge, BC, Sheila (Ed) Gillingwater, Orillia, ON, her sister; Jessie Fisher of Corner Brook, thirty grand children, forty six great grand children and twelve great great grand children, also a very large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Wilbert (1964), daughter Rowena (1963), parents Francis and Elizabeth White and a long list of brothers and sisters. Visitation will take place at Holy Trinity Church, Meadows on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 from 7-9 p.m., and Thursday, July 9, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Service will be held at Holy Trinity Church Meadows on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery Meadows. Funeral services have been entrusted to Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road, Corner Brook. Flowers are gracefully accepted or donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Memorial Fund.
