Dwayne James Charles Pond was granted his angel wings on February 5, 2011 at the young age of 39. Dwayne's life would seem too short to many but those who were touched by him, understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
Dwayne was born to his adoring parents Roy and Linda (Clark) Pond on October 4, 1971 in North Sydney, N.S. He graduated from memorial High School in Sydney Mines in 1990. he later moved to Edmonton, Alberta where he spent his days as a loving and devoted companion and father.
Left to cherish his wonderful memory are his parents, the love of his life, Brenda MacInnis and their two boys, Kyle and Zachary, who were his pride and joy. His two caring sisters, Sharon Cooke (Randy Townsend) and Angela (John) MacInnis will deeply miss their baby brother. Dwayne is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Dwayne was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Viv Clark, North Sydney and paternal grandparents, Harvey and Lilly Pond, Newfoundland and also by a brother in infancy.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
