Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Centre on Saturday, January 22nd, Mrs. Ethel Pardy of Harbour Mille, age 88 years. Predeceased by father and mother John and Emily Bungay; son Roger, son-in-law Onslow Baker, sisters Winnie and Shirley; Leaving to mourn: husband Jim, daughters Vivian Brady (Harry) of Fortune, Audrey of Harbour Mille, Ruth (Hiriam) of Winnipeg, Greta Miller of Grand Bank, son Carl (Aurine) of Harbour Shot, Nova Scotia, daughter-in-law Natalie Pardy of Courtice, Ontario; 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, brothers Curtis (Eleanor) of Burgeo, Charlie (Emily) of Little Bay East, Harvey (Ruby) of Indian Bay; sisters Marion Stone of Fortune, Myrtle Barnes of Fortune, Vida (Merrill) of Harbour Mille, also a circle of other relatives and friends. The funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 25th at 2:00 pm from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Harbour Mille.
