WILE, Theodore Charles - 75, of Windsor, Hants Co., went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Leminster, he was the son of the late Aubrey and Nellie (Leopold) Wile. Theodore started truck driving at an early age and did so for several years. He began T.C. Wile Enterprises, producing summer savoury sold throughout the Atlantic provinces. He owned and operated Ski View Farm in Martock, producing fruits and vegetables, jams and jellies. He enjoyed woodworking, restoring furniture and making toys. His relationship with Jesus Christ and sharing the Gospel was of the utmost importance in his life. Over the years, Theodore served as a Sunday School teacher, deacon, choir member and in men's ministry. He was faithful to senior's ministry through gospel singing and guitar playing at Dykeland Lodge and Haliburton Place. Since 1988, he held various positions in the Gideon's Organization, to which he was very dedicated, along with his wife Ann. Theodore's passion for antique cars was also evident to all who saw him out for a drive in his big yellow 1978 Ford LTD. Theodore is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Ann (Harrington); daughter, Jacqui (Trevor) Hill, Mt. Uniacke; son, Anthony, Mt. Uniacke; granddaughters and the apples of his eye, Madison and Lacey Hill; sisters, Roberta Graham, Halifax; Ruth Redden, Windsor; June (Jim) Shea, Halifax; brothers, Alvah (Mayme), Falmouth; Joseph "Jim" (Ruth), Falmouth; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Vivian and Helen; brothers, Aubrey and Howard "Bob". Arrangements were entrusted to Lohnes-DeMont Funeral Service Ltd., 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where the family received visitors from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28. The funeral service was held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29 in Windsor United Baptist Church, 411 King St., Rev. Jeffrey White officiated. A reception was held in the church hall with burial following in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Theodore may be made to the Gideon's, P.O.
