In Edmundston, N.B. on February 3rd 2011 at the age of 94 years, Aunt Eva left us quietly as she had lived her life. Predeceased by her husband Marcel some 19 years ago she continued to live in their apartment at Villa Desjardins until 2 years ago when failing health required a move to the nursing care unit. She bore this move graciously, as she did everything in her life. In her younger days Aunt Eva was an accomplished athlete- expert tennis player, golfer, curler until recently. She played her favourite game bridge! Aunt Eva leaves behind many nieces, nephews and godchildren who live near and far, N.B., Maine, Ontario, Québec, Ohio, Minnesota, B.C. and Germany. They all have wonderful memories of her goodness and kindness. We want to thank her caregivers at the Villa and a special thanks goes to her sister-in-law, Yvonne Jessop, who was Aunt Eva's friend and helper for over 10 years.
Funeral services will take place in Edmundston at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of J.B. Côté et Fils, 160, Church Street, Edmundston, N.B. E3V 1K2.
