It is with our warmest thanks that we, the family of Paul Gouthro, would like to express our sincere gratitude to our wonderful family, friends, neighbours and co-workers for the kindness and generosity during the recent loss of our beloved son, father, brother, husband, nephew, uncle and friend. Special thanks and gratitude for the food sent to our homes, sympathy cards, mass cards, memorials, personal visits to our homes, phone calls, condolences, people that attended the wake and funeral, donations to charities and also beautiful flowers. We would like to recognize and thank the team effort of the Emergency Response Team at Lingan Generating Station, co-workers, and support staff. Your care and professionalism will never be forgotten. Thank you to the doctors, nurses and EHS staff, especially Dr. Hanspaul, Dale R.N., and the staff at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital and Organ and Tissue Donation personnel for your kindness and support. To Nova Scotia Power for providing much generosity and support during this time with a special thank you to Kevin McNeil and Family. A heartfelt thanks to the Dominion and surrounding Fire Departments for the beautiful and touching Fireman's funeral and Honor Guard. A special thank you to members of The Red Knights Bike Club, especially those who travelled from away to offer support. To V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home in Glace Bay, thank you for your sincere kindness and patience shown to our family during this time. We were comforted by the support, kind words, and caring manner of Father Boudreau. We thank you Father for capturing the essence of Paul. Special thanks for the beautiful music of St. Eugene's and Immaculate Conception Choir. Thanks to the CWL and Fire Department for the beautiful reception following the funeral. Many thanks to the pallbearers, readers, Eucharistic Ministers, offertory procession and to all those who helped in any way especially Jason Turnbull for the beautiful pictures and Murray McNeil for his support and friendship. We will remember you all in our thoughts and prayers.
