She has resided in New Brunswick since 2005, first at McNair Manor and later, the Lakeview Manor where the many staff loved her, and diligently and respectfully cared for her. She will live on in the memory of Donald, her loving husband of 58 years, her children: Gary (Angela) of Ft. Mom's love and devotion to her family was unconditional and she will be remembered for the happiness she brought to everyone who was fortunate to be a part of her life. She worked tirelessly for her family as well as the countless people she met during her years as owner of Verge's Bakery, Parsons Pond. She was known to serve many a wayward hungary customer a meal 'out back in the kitchen' and lent many a dollar to the local young men waiting for their next pay. She was generous to all and spent her life nurturing and caring. She will be resting at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Parson's Pond with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rev. Jean will be officiating the Funeral Service on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with the burial following at the Anglican Cemetery, Parsons Pond.
