The death occurred at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, of Claude Speed Matheson, formerly of Milltown Cross, age 91.
Survived by sisters Mona (Buddy) MacPhee, Brooklyn and Ruth Wight, Charlottetown. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Daniel and Mary (Speed) Matheson, his brother Walter and sisters Donalda Matheson and Effie Wilson.
Resting at Southern Kings and Queens Funeral Home, Murray River, for visitation on Friday, February 11, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday, February 12, at the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Interment later in the Community Cemetery, Montague.
In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to the Kings County Memorial Hospital Digital X-Ray Machine.
