Passed peacefully away at The Pentecostal Senior Citizens Home on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, Mrs. Violet Miriam Hiscock, aged 87 years, of Port de Grave. Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Clara Burden, husband Raymond Frederick Hiscock, daughter Sharon, sister Rebecca, brother Wilfred, daughter-in-law Zonya. Leaving to mourn three sons: Frederick (Cathy), Albert (Irene), Bruce (Irene); four daughters: Minnie (Maynard) King, Beverly (Richard) Sloos, Harriett Hiscock, Marilyn (John) Murray, a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers: Reuben, Gilbert (Shirley); sisters-in-law: Ida (Roy) Clarke, Harriett (Hunter) Dearing; brother-in-law Harris (Karen) Hiscock, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at The Pentecostal Tabernacle, Port de Grave. Visitation Thursday 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.; Friday 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Funeral to take place on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from The Pentecostal Tabernacle, Port de Grave. Interment in the Pentecostal Cemetery, Port de Grave. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Pentecostal Cemetery Memorial Fund, Port de Grave.
