Huntley, Beulah Susan, 72, Bass River, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in the Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Dean, she was the daughter of the late William and Myra (Hamilton) Dean. Beulah loved quilting and cooking, and especially loved humming birds. In earlier years she enjoyed dancing and camping. Her greatest love in life was her husband and her beloved Michael, Troy and James, and sharing in their years of growing up. Beulah is survived by her husband of 48 years, Arthur; brother, Newton (Joyce) Dean, Cranbrook, BC; sister-in-law, Geneva Dean, Brookfield; nieces, Linda (Fred) Morash, Bible Hill; Jane Fletcher, Victoria, BC; Avis (David) Brown, Toronto, ON; nephews, Roger (Sherry) Feener, Enfield; Terry Dean and Keith (Gail) Dean, both of Cranbrook, BC; great nieces Carol, Janet and Nola; great nephews Michael D., Troy, James, Nicholas, Michael B. and Danny; great great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister Viola; brothers Wesley and Bruce. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11th beginning at 1pm until the time of the funeral service at 2pm, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro, with Rev. Kenneth Banks officiating. Interment in the spring in the Bass River Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association of Nova Scotia or to the West Colchester Community Health Centre, Bass River.
