It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARGARET H. MURPHY of Little Bay announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Saturday February 5, 2011 at the age of 77. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons Alphonsus (Sharon) of Fox Cove, and James (Wanda) of Little Bay; Daughters Norma (John) Bradbury of Bay Roberts, Margaret Rose (Syl Edwards) of Lawn, Theresa (James) Dimmer of Fox Cove, and Susan (Charlie) Maher of St. John’s; Daughter in Law Philomena Murphy; Sisters Mathilda Flynn of Ontario, Norma Dell of Texas, Joan Doucette of Alberta, Tina Shephard of Stephenville, Doris Barton of New Mexico, Brenda Hawkins of Ontario, Rose Navia of Ontario, and Karen Martin of Ontario ; Brother James K. Alexander of Ontario; 14 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband John Murphy, Son John Jr. Murphy, Granddaughter Cavelle Power, Parents Richard & Isabella Alexander and Brother William Alexander. Funeral Mass took place on Thursday February 10, 2011 at 10:30am from Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Marystown. Inurnment followed at the Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery in Little Bay. In Margaret’s memory, flowers are gratefully accepted. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Wiseman’s Funeral Homes.
