John Lawrence Giovannetti

We, the family of the late John Lawrence Giovannetti, who passed away on January 19, 2011, at Taigh Na Mara, would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all who supported Dad and our family during his illness and following his death. We would like to thank Dr. MacLean and staff at Taigh Na Mara for their kindness and professionalism during this difficult time. A special thank you to Dad’s dedicated caregivers, Duke and Sharon Campbell, and Hilary MacKinnon. Words alone cannot express how special you are and how thankful we are for the gift of your friendship. Our heartfelt thanks to family, friends and neighbors for your support and expressions of sympathy, for sending food, flowers, mass offerings, sympathy cards, charitable donations, telephone calls, and emails. Thank you to Fr. Norman MacPhee for his words of comfort during the visitation and funeral. Thank you to Gwen Martell and Kevin Curry for their assistance with the mass, and to Stephanie Doyle for providing beautiful music for our celebration. To the pallbearers, grandchildren Terry Giovannetti, Michael Giovannetti, Leanne Billard, Brittany Robinson, Myles Seeley and great-grandson, Zachary Hiscock; readers, niece, Deborah Zorychta and grandson, Justin Giovannetti, and gift bearers, granddaughter, Victoria Salt and great-grandson Isaiah Hiscock. You honored Poppy with your show of love and affection. To Branch #055, Royal Canadian Legion, Port Morien, we send our special gratitude for the Honor Guard and Service at the Church and for hosting the reception after the committal. Dad was a proud veteran, and your participation honored his commitment to the legion and his sacrifice for his country. A final thank you is sent to Mike Curry and staff of Curry’s Funeral Home for their guidance and support during our loss. Your kindness will always be remembered.
