REID, Margaret Mary — Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Escasoni Retirement Home on Friday, October 17, 2008 in her 83rd year. Born at Bell Island, N.L. on June 24, 1926. Margaret was predeceased by her husband William, November of 1990. Leaving to mourn seven children, daughters: Carol-Ann (Desmond) St. John’s, N.L.; Diane (Kevin) Bell Island, N.L.; Peggy (Heber) St. John’s, N.L.; sons: Barry (Sandra) Cambridge, Ont; Sidney (Donna), Brian (June) and Jim, all in St. John’s, N.L. One brother Michael (Teresa) Lahey, Bell Island, N.L. and one sister Elizabeth Cunningham, St. John’s, N.L. Margaret will be sadly missed by several loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also a large circle of family and friends. Friends will be received at Pendergast’s Funeral Home, Bell Island, N.L. on Saturday from 12 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 12 to 9 p.m. Service will be held on Monday, October 20, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Jackson United Church, Bell Island, N.L.
