1939 - 2011

On February 8, 2011, William M. Blake passed away suddenly at Kamloops at the age of 71 years.

Survived by his loving wife, Carole and his children William (Lynn) Blake, Kim (Hank) Niemela, Jo-Anna (Joe) Sabyan, Dennis Blake, Stacey (Norm) Watson. He is also remembered by his nine grandchildren and one great grandchild, his sisters Elva Standish and Barbara (Mel) Johnson and brother-in-law Jim Tingle.

He was predeceased by his parents William A. and Carol E. Blake, his son Trevor Blake, and his sister Carolyn Tingle.

Bill was born in Salmon Arm, B.C. and moved to Kamloops with his family as a young boy. Bill and Carole raised their children in Savona and have resided in Kamloops for the past 30 years. Bill was an avid fisherman and member of the Woodcarvers Guild.
