Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Hospital on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 of Bell Island. Leaving to mourn his wife Elizabeth, sister Ruby, sister-in-law Florence Matthews and brother-in-law Jack, a number of nieces, nephews and friends. Also two of his friends who visited him every night in the hospital, Herb and Mable. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 11th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Jackson United Church, Bell Island. Donations can be made to the Cancer Society in his memory.
