MOSS, Elizabeth Ann – 73, Tatamagouche, formerly of Truro, passed away suddenly Thursday, February 10, 2011, at Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born January 21, 1938, in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Ulysse and Edna Thibedeau. Elizabeth was an active member of Truro Heights United Baptist Church and Shepherd’s Heart Prayer Centre. She enjoyed her retirement years immensely and spent her time knitting, watching VHS movies and walking on the beach. An avid reader, she read her Bible daily and also read two other books each day, including Myles Munroe books, mystery and suspense novels. Elizabeth is survived by her children, Lana Caron, Tatamagouche; Wayne (Elizabeth) Moss, Riverview, New Brunswick; Sondra (Robert) Day, Elmsdale; grandchildren, Stephen Moss, Allan Day, Christopher Day; brothers, Gerald (Lorraine) Thibedeau, Yarmouth; Lawrence (Irene) Thibedeau, Belleville, Ontario; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Allan Edward Moss; sisters, Helen Clayton, Evelyn LeBlanc; brother, Arthur Thibedeau. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, February 13, 2011, in Truro Heights United Baptist Church, 343 Truro Heights Road, Pastor Greg Porter officiating. Spring interment in Truro Heights Cemetery. Family flowers only. If so desired, donations in Elizabeth’s memory to Breast Cancer Research are welcomed.
