FROTTEN, Peter Leo – 84, Springdale, Digby Co., and formerly of South Belleville, Yarmouth Co., passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2011 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born May 19, 1926 in Quinan, he was a son of the late Remi and Marie (Muise) Frotten. Surviving is a sister, Elise Deveau, Springdale, as well as a niece, Mary Deveau, Springdale; 4 grand nieces and 3 great-grand nephews. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Gertrude and Julie; a brother, Bernard, and a niece, Geraldine. Visitation took place from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral which was held on Saturday, February 12 at 3:30 p.m. at Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth, Rev. Mr. Stephen Bourque officiated. Interment followed in Saint Anne’s Parish Cemetery, Ste. Anne-du-Ruisseau. Memorial donations may be made to Yarmouth Special Olympics.
