1925 - 2011 - Iona M. Richard, 86, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Thursday, February 10th, 2011, at her residence. Born in Dieppe, NB, she was the daughter of the late Albenie and the late Emma (née: LeBlanc) LeBlanc. Mrs. Richard was a member of the Ste-Thérèse parish. She is survived by two daughters: Margaret LeBlanc of Dieppe and Diane Stewart of Carlton Siding, PE; one son, Ronald (Joanne) of Sackville; two sisters: Mae LeBlanc of Tracadie and Florine (Ubald) Leger of Moncton; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Richard; one son, Edgar; two sisters: Violette and Evelyn and also by three brothers: Alcide, Edgar and Thomas.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Monday from 9 am until time of service. Funeral service will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, February 14th, 2011 at 10 am.
