It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce passing of a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Keith Campbell passed away Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Quebec, he was the son of the late Elias and Catherine Campbell.
Keith was employed with the City of Toronto for 18 years. He was loving and caring and had a great sense of humour.
Keith will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Betty (Acker); cherished daughter, Kelly Ann (Chris Goddard), Ajax, Ont.; grandchildren, Danielle, Kevin, Gregory, Andrew, Ryan, Samantha, Emily and great-granddaughter, Keira. Keith will also be loving remembered by his mother-in-law, Mary Acker, Glace Bay; brother and sisters, sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and Walter Blanchard, P.E.I., Etta and Jack Higginson, Hamilton, Ont., Bill and Beverly Acker, Halifax; and many nieces and nephews.
Keith and Betty would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 6.
Besides his parents, Keith was predeceased by his brothers, Everett, Bernard and sister, Mary.
In honoring Keith’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
