David Lloyd Boutcher

In loving memory of
DAVID LLOYD BOUTCHER
and the crew who lost their lives in
the Ocean Ranger Disaster
February 15, 1982.

The years pass by so quickly,
But the hurt is always there,
As memories of that tragic day,
Still fills us with fear.

We think of David so often,
And miss him more each day,
As we ask God to protect him,
This we always pray.

Loved and remembered by Mom.

REMEMBERING...
THE OCEAN RANGER

Twenty-nine years, since the crash of that wave,
Sent all eighty-four to that tragic grave,
Remember the storm, the news that changed lives,
Leaving behind friends, families and wives.

Memories today still fresh in my mind,
Only twenty-two bodies did they find,
Wasn’t a chance for a proper good-bye,
The sea had spoken we never knew why?

Waves were high, winds they blew,
As the sea took away all 84 crew,
Gone but not forgotten, just taken away,
Remember their smiles on this very day,
Pain thru the years has not gone away,
Never to heal from that tragic day,
Pause for a moment, pray for their souls,
Remember the “OCEAN Ranger”, all that it holds.

REST IN PEACE
(Composed by brother Jeff Boutcher).

Forever remembered by Jim, Jeff, Jeanette, Denise, Dana and families.
