Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, February 12, 2011, of Margaret MacKinnon of Parkdale, age 89.
Wife of the late Arthur MacKinnon. Mother of Barry (Mary), Wayne (Jan) and David (Dianne) MacKinnon. Grandmother of Jill, Jane (Jeremy Cleveland), Ellen, Charles, Starr, Colin and Amanda (Rob) Shanahan. Great-grandmother of Brayden and Ethan. Daughter of the late Walter Sr. and Sadie Elizabeth (MacDonald) Carver. Survived by sisters, Betty (Ralph - predeceased) MacGuigan, Sally (Stevie) MacDonald, Janet (David) Hatt, Ginny (Tom) Weerdenberg; brother, Paul (Heather) Carver; and sister-in-law, Barb Carver; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by sister, Doreen Carver and brothers, Ernest (Martha Graham), Walter, Arnold, Allie, Orin (Jill) and Keith “Skippy” (June) Carver.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
