Claudette Marie Doyle, loving wife of Gary Doyle passed away on Sunday February 13, 2011 at the Saint John Residential Hospice. Born 1944 in Belledune, NB she was the daughter of the late Delphis and Rosanne (Hache) Guitard. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sisters Alice Lapointe, Carmeline Fournier, Florence Thibodeau and Pearl Guitard; brothers Raymond Guitard, Maurice Guitard and Albert Guitard. Claudette was actively involved in Calvary Temple, loved missions and spending time with her family. Besides her loving husband Gary of 24 years, she is survived by her sons Joseph Duclose (Nadine) and Michael Simonson (Heather); daughter Lisa Reed (Scott); grandchildren: Brandon, Devon, Mackenzie, Jolen and Phillip; brothers Liander Guitard (Annette), Phillipe Guitard (Abina), Alvin Guitard (Bertha), Walter Guitard, Norman Guitard (Carman) and Emile Guitard (Georgette); sisters Marie Moulton, Jeannette Guitard, and Martina Celeste; her best friend Elaine Dawson, who was always there when she needed her; many nieces and nephews and friends.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Thursday, February 17, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
