It is with deep sadness the family of Margaret Tremblay announces her passing on July 9, 2009, at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
Margaret was the daughter of the late Harry and Bess (Kendall) Porquet and a member of St. Michael’s Church.
Margaret is a survived by her daughter, Claire (Dave) Yetman, Yellowknife; and son Terrance (Judy), Toronto; along with grandchildren, Krystal, Diedre, Ryan, Jimmy and Mark. Also left to mourn are brothers, Will (Elizabeth), Ray (Anne), George ‘Dodie’, Terry (Brenda); great-granddaughter, Zoe as well as niece Kim Porquet-Santha; nephews, Bill, Albert, Harry and George Porquet; and friend, Lyall White.
Margaret was a devoted employee of Maple Hill Manor until her retirement.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses who tenderly cared for Margaret during this last year. Marg was dearly touched by each of you through your compassion.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A funeral mass celebrating Margaret’s life will be held Monday July 13, 2009, at 10 a.m. in the Parish of St. Leonard’s, St. Michael’s Church, River Ryan, with Fr. Doug Mac Donald officiating, interment will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
