It is with great sadness that the family of the late Blanche Osmond announce her passing on Sunday, February 13th, 2011 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in her 81st year. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Hector; children David (Kathleen), Gary (Geraldine), Effie (Gerald) Gale and Joan Daniels; grandchildren Perry (Michelle) Osmond, Derrick (fiance Ashley) Osmond, Joshua (fiance Stephanie) Osmond, Amanda Daniels, Jonathan Daniels, and Melanie (fiance Adam); great-grandchildren Paul Gale, Riley Gale, Eric Provo Gale, Braden Provo Gale and Anthony McDeiros. Her siblings, Maude (Esau) Pinksen, Pearl (Victor) Osbourne, Maisie (Ken) Osbourne, Herbert (Mary) Gavin and Claude Gavin; sister-in-law Alma Gavin as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Irene and Thomas Gavin, sister Margorie Rice, mother and father-in-law Irene and Jerry Osmond, sister-in-law Clara Gale (Thomas); grandson Paul Gale and brother-in-law William Gavin. Visitation will take place from the family residence in Hampden today, Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Leggo officiating, cremation to follow. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 Northmain Street Deer Lake.
