RUSSILL – John (Jack) Edward Russill, of Swift Current, SK, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2009, at the age of 82 years. Jack, a long-time resident of Swift Current, married his sweetheart, Eileen Wingert, on August 8, 1945, at the end of his service in the Royal Canadian Navy. Jack worked in the real estate industry for over 34 years and was president of Swift Agencies. Jack is survived by his wife of 62 years, Eileen, and their six children – Elaine (Ken), Joan (Bruce), Pat (Ken), Connie (Barry), Tim (Shelly), David (Doreen); 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Known for his extraordinary sense of humor and love of family life, Jack will be sadly missed. A private family funeral is being planned.
