Our angel Madison R. McDougall/Burch has passed away peacefully after her courageous battle with Leukemia. Madison was not here for long but has touched and was touched by many people. She was strong, fearless, loving and happy through her short life. Madi always had a smile for everyone. Survived by father Stephen McDougall (Angela Cameron), mother Jessica Burch, grandparents Ron and Cynthia Morrison, her very special uncle Jeritt McDougall (Jessica McNeil) who loved her dearly, uncle Jason Morrison (Shalaine), aunt Vanessa (Brad) Strong, cousins Kenzie, Aden, Bria, her special cousin who she called “My Dylan”, also by the Burch Family. Madison had her tough times early in life but she stood strong in her battle. She never faltered or gave up. She remained with a smile or her face until the end. The Morrison/McDougall family send out our deepest appreciation to all the friends and family who showed their support when we needed it most. Madison is now gone but never forgotten. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service and reception in celebration of Madi will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011 at St. Anne’s Church, Main Street, Glace Bay.
