The death occurred peacefully, with family by her side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Sunday, February 13, 2011, of Margaret Evans of North Rustico, age 68.
Margaret was the wife of the late Billy Evans; beloved mother of Danny, Jimmy, Jeff (Shirley) and Donnie; and grandmother of Melissa. She is also survived by her sisters, Audrey (James) Gallant and Delma (Dale) Whitlock; and brother, Harold (Janet). Besides her husband, Billy, she was predeceased by her parents, Willy and Cecile Gallant.
Resting at the McNeill Room, Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, for visitation on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, from 7-9 p.m.
The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #13 will hold a service on Wednesday evening at 6:45 p.m.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at the church on Thursday, February 17, 2011, at 10 a.m. Interment at a later date.
Due to severe allergies, please refrain from wearing scented products.
