The death occurred at the Garden Nursing Home on Sunday, February 13, 2011, of Mrs. Mamie Victoria MacPherson of Darlington and Charlottetown, in her 94th year.
Beloved wife of the late Donald MacPherson. She was predeceased by her daughter, Donalda MacPherson. Lovingly remembered by her granddaughters, Heather Barry (Kevin) of Fergus, ON, and Lori Weir (Kendall McMenamon) of Saint John, N.B.; and great-grandchildren, Christian and Hayden Barry. Survived by her brothers, Sheldon (Nadine) of Moncton, N.B., Cecil (Marie) of Springvale, Wendell (Mary) of Hunter River; sisters-in-law, Jean MacPherson and Eileen Nicholson; brother-in-law, Roy Craswell; several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Neil and Mary (MacKay) Nicholson of Hartsville, four sisters and eight brothers.
Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Interment later in the family plot at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mamie’s memory may be made to the ALS Society of P.E.I.
