Eva (Marshall) MacFarlane, 90 of Sydney, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 at the Northside Community Guest Home.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (MacInnis) Poirier.
Eva enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Connie Piercey; grandsons, Richie, Cyril, Ricky, Scott; granddaughter, Michelle and great-grandson, Rhett, along with many nieces and one nephew.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard 'Dick' Marshall; son, Richard; sisters, Kay, Julie, Sadie, Ellen, Josie, Flo, Alice and brother, Ott.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will take place on Thursday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel with Rev. Norman MacPhee officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
